New members please follow these guidelines:

-New members must add a profile including attendance years, a picture, friends or all of the above within 48 hours of joining the site. After 48 hours, blank or suspicious profiles will be removed and the member banned.

-Family picture uploads are limited to 10 for public viewing. Any photos in excess of 10 or business materials must be marked for viewing by your friends only. Pictures taken at U of I or alumni events have no upload limit.

-This is a social connection site and may not be used to solicit business outside of the dedicated groups and featured businesses section. Do not post business materials in the public photo section. Violators will be removed from the site. Please contact Heather Duncan Whitt to feature your business or event on our front page.

Fall is here, and while I love boots and sweaters, scarves and hoodies, hot fun in the summertime is definitely a thing of the past and future. So what are we doing now? I know you're not all hibernating yet, so give me the scoop and I'll pass it on. Also, be sure to join the Illinisoul group on Facebook...2009 is almost over and it's time to start gearing up for Reunion 2010, so we need to stay in touch. We can't let all of these copycat black alumni reunions show us up, we have to make 2010 even hotter!

Please email any events you want to see full of Illini for me to post to our events page. I'll also send a weekly blast email if I have enough events to mention, so remind me of your weekly, monthly and annual functions, and I'll remind everyone else.
To post your event, send me an email at hduncan1@msn.com. Please include event info in a word document or the body of the email...I need to be able to cut and paste it. I also need a jpeg of some type. Please try to give me a 2 week window of time to post, I'll try to get it up on the Monday before your event. See below for current fun stuff.
